Thai Orchid Restaurant

The food was excellent! Staff were very attentive, kind, and welcoming. I’m visiting from out of town and don’t have access to good Thai food at home, I was thrilled to find this place. The red curry and the sweet rice with mango were exactly what I needed.

Came for lunch, sat quickly, apps came quickly, and main dish followed once we finished those apps. Great timing on service. Such clean tasty broth for the Pho, plus additional lime, bean sprouts, basil, and chili to flavor it exactly to your liking. I got the beef meatballs and brisket, both done perfect. Fried spring rolls and chicken as our appetizers. I always get scared about fried rolls because they can get greasy... but these were NOT. Both apps tasted very fresh and the pickled cucumbers with the chicken was refreshing. So many more things on this menu I can't wait to try!

If you're looking for the best Pho in Eau Claire, look no further. The broth has crystal clarity, and a well-rounded refreshing flavor. While served with a variety of sauces and spices to tailor fit to your taste, the soup is stellar as-is. The meat (I had beef brisket) was perfectly tender and flavorful, and the egg rolls had just the right crunch and filling ratio. As far as the dining experience goes, the cheery yellow walls and tasteful decor made even a solo meal feel very welcoming and relaxing. The staff is friendly and helpful without hovering, I haven't met someone who works here yet that had anything less than great personality. All of that on top of the affordability and generous portions, you can't lose. This is going to be one of my go-to's going forward.

So good! We started with the spring rolls, and the peanut sauce was superb! The pineapple curry was loved by all at our table, including a 16 month old. Of course we we finished our lunch with the mango sticky rice. It is also very reasonably priced. If we find ourselves in town again we would for sure stop again!

I was in Eau Claire last week. Thai orchid was recommended by a Lazy Monk bartender and was great. I have Spring Rolls and Thai Green Curry and would definitely recommend.

Was on a work trip in Eau Claire on 9/25/2024. I wanted some asian food so decided to try Thai Orchid out. I entered and was seated right away. They let me choose where I wanted to sit. Server came out quick with water while I was looking over the menu. I ordered Chicken fried rice and an order of their spicy wings, spice level 3 out of 4(max). Food took about 10 minutes to come out. I tried the chicken first and it was still steaming from being so fresh out the oil. Very juicy and perfectly cooked chicken. Spice level was perfectly spicy for me. Do not try 3 or higher if you can't handle real spicy foods. I could have done 4 as 3 was good enough to slightly burn the tongue and lips. Wings and drums were very good sized. Not your small wings some restaurants have. Tried the fried rice with no Sriracha sauce first. Very tasty and flavorful as well. Had to add Sriracha for some spice to it. Food overall was very good for my 1st visit. Would definitely try again if in town. Service was good enough. Waiter really didn't come around anymore after bringing the food. I didn't need anything other than waiting to pay for my bill and needing a small container to pack what I didn't finish. Worth a try as the menu did have a good variety of choices.

Very courteous and friendly service. Walk-in order, and it was ready within 10 minutes. Ordered mild spicy chicken, beef, shrimp fried rice. It's the first time I've had that option of fried rice within a menu.The best tasting fried rice I've eaten in the area since I moved here in 2008. Sort of sweet and spicy. There's two more hots above the mild that I ordered. The mild has a ting, but was not hot on the tongue. Will have to try the next level of hot on my return. Very good fried rice! I've dined in on one other occasions, and it was a very clean and comfortable place to sit down and have something to eat.

We were traveling through and Googled a good place to eat papaya salad. My family and I arrived right at the opening, and the restaurant quickly filled up. We ordered pho, drunkin noodles, tomyum, papaya salad, and egg rolls. Everything was good, and the service was very friendly. I recommend at least trying the pho because I was impressed by the flavors. I didn't add any additional sauces. The Hmong style papaya hit the spot. I was happy to find this place.
